We start this facial with a deep cleanse. Next, we exfoliate with steam and then perform light extractions. After extractions, we apply Celluma Blue Light Therapy to shrink pore size and eliminate bacteria, and to finish, we use a corrective mask and healing serums to soothe and support acne clearing and scar correction. During the facial, we will also discuss how to care for skin at home and make home care recommendations. If you need more than light extractions, please add our "Extra time for Acne Care" to get the most out of this facial. You can also add "Extra Time for Education" to discuss diet and other contributing factors to breakouts.
dermaplane
Dermaplaning is a minimally invasive procedure that shaves away the top layers of your skin. Some people get dermaplaning to remove unwanted hair. This technique uses a specialized surgical instrument and disposable blades explicitly designed for dermaplaning. Once the skin is properly prepped, the technician holds the skin taut and gently scrapes the skin with the blade held at a 45-degree angle. This removes the vellus hair and the top layer of dead skin cells.
All skin types can benefit from dermaplaning. This is an excellent treatment for removing dead layers of skin, helping correct pigmentation concerns, and providing a more youthful and healthy glow. It can also help reduce the appearance of acne scars or pitted skin.
Typically, clients over 35 are the best candidates for dermaplaning.

Anticipate a moderate amount of flaking for two to three days starting three days after treatment, followed by mild flaking for up to seven days.
